Lindemann Chimney Service has been servicing Chicago and the North Shore area since 1969. We were founded by former Winnetka Fire Captain Gary Lindemann when he saw the immediate local need for Chimney and Fireplace Safety.

All of our chimney sweeps are nationally certified by the Chimney Safety Institute of America and our company is a member of the National Chimney Sweep Guild.

Chimney relining, a service that we have provided since 1979, is just one of our company’s specialties. We also have two masonry crews that specialize in tuckpointing and chimney rebuilding.  Our masons also do firebox repairs and construction. As the Midwest leader in chimney care, we provide both excellent products and unparalleled quality of workmanship.  

As leading advocates for chimney safety and education, we donated $20,000 to help build the CSIA Technology Center; it's our way of giving back to our industry and helping support the CSIA's educational and training programs.

Directs all facets of our Home Services Division including our Gutter Cleaning Services.

Personal:
When he’s not in the office or out in the field he can usually be found enjoying time with his wife Jennifer and his two girls, Zoe and Piper. Michael loves guitars and coffee and is the undisputed ping pong champion throughout the Lindemann divisions.


 Mike Patten
