We offer a wide variety

of chimney related services:

Chimney Inspections should be done annually per NFPA safety standards. Additionally, an inspection is always needed before installation of a new appliance. An inspection is also highly recommended before purchasing a new home.

Chimney Sweeping is needed when a wood burning system accumulates more than 1/8" of creosote buildup. When wood is burned, smoke that passes through the chimney can cool down and solidify. Solid smoke particles are called creosote, which is a flammable substance that can cause chimney fires. Chimney sweeping is done with brushes and other manual cleaning equipment to remove creosote buildup. Sweeping the chimney also helps promote proper drafting so your fire is easier to light, drafts better and burns cleaner.

Other Cleaning Services are available when sweeping the chimney cannot get the chimney clean enough. Wood stoves can cause a tar-like, sticky or thick & brittle type of creosote that cannot be removed with chimney brushes. We offer chemical chimney cleaning treatments for the really tough jobs.

Chimney Liners are important to the proper function of your venting system. Older homes with unlined chimneys should be lined for added safety and performance of the appliance being vented. Damaged liners should be replaced for optimum safety, and we offer relining services as well. We install stainless steel chimney lining systems that are suitable for all fuel types and all types of appliances. While we're checking your fireplace, be sure and ask us to check the chimneys venting your furnace and water heater.
